Last year's Junior Weekend was a great success and this year we are planning to make even better weekend! The Junior weekend will be on 21.-22.4.2012, starting at 11 o'clock and ending on Sunday afternoon around three o'clock. You do not have to be worried about the costs, because the Museum Railway Association will offer free accommodation and meals for the participants.  You do not need to be a member of the association to participate, so bring your friends with you!

Program of the weekend includes small sessions of volunteer work, rides with hand cars and train, sauna and grilling sausages in the evening. The event is meant for over 12 years old boys and girls and this time there will be also program for older ones!

Because the program includes a lot of dirty work on the railway you should not take your best clothes with you but bring some older clothes that can get dirty. If you have good working gloves you should take them with you. Also your should bring with you a water bottle and a cap to protect against sun. It is also better to take rain clothes, because if you leave your rain jacket at home it will be raining for sure! For sleeping bring your sleeping back and a pillow case with you.
